Health education and psychosocial activities have important roles in the mental and physical well-being of individuals. This project involved community-living elderly with subsyndromal anxiety and depression, in the Jurong area. Health education talks and interventional activities like Music Reminiscence Therapy, Tai Chi Exercise, Art Therapy and Mindfulness Practice were provided weekly for three months and then fortnightly for six months. Participants were rated on levels of anxiety and depression at baseline, three months and six months and showed significant response to the interventions. The findings will be presented.
